Where I Live

Where I Live

Children often confuse states, countries, and continents, so this "Where I Live" activity solidifies these concepts. This is a booklet for students to make in order to help them visualize their location in the world. It begins with students pasting or drawing a picture of the house they live in, then goes through locations such as city, state, region, country, continent, planet, and ends with a photo of the universe. State and town/city maps can be printed from https://www.nationalgeographic.org/education/mapping and Google maps. Included also are matching cards to practice the concepts and play Memory. I hope your students will enjoy creating and reading this book! 19 pages
