RAFT Strategy for Creative Writing
R.A.F.T. stands for Role, Audience, Format, Topic. It invites your students to think in a new, creative way, and write from a fresh angle. It fosters deeper thinking, creativity, and it’s fun! Here are two sets of R.A.F.T. lessons, one based on a nonfiction text, and the other based on a narrative text.
